Leader board qualifiers
  • I added a blurb about what is required for a horse to get on the Top Producing Stallion/Mares leader boards, to the Basic Information for New Players thread (at the top of the forums) and in the FAQ/User Guide. It's one of those questions that pop up every few months, and then we all forget the answers!

  • Thank you for this! It is a question I've had for a while now.
One further question about leaderboards- what is being measured in the foals? PT score, breeding ability, or a combo?

  • No. You are mixing up the actual award with the criteria to get on the leader board to begin with.

Yes, only the top 10 horses in every category receive an award/ribbon at the end of the month.

To make it onto the best producing stallion board at all, a stallion has to have at least 10 foals. If he only has 10 foals, all 10 will be used to set the "average". If he has more than 10 foals, only the best/top 25 will be "averaged" towards his final placement on the board.

To make it onto the best producing mare board at all, a mare has to have at least 3 foals. If she only has 3 foals, all 3 will be used to set the "average". If she has more than 3 foals, only the best/top 25 will be "averaged" towards her final placement on the board.

I put "average" in quotation marks, because we don't know how the foals are measured for quality, if it's breeding ability, PT, consistency, or if they can do a back flip. That is the calculation we DON'T know.

  • ok thanks ; I guess I thought the list during the month that you look at was the top 25 of stallions or PT scores or which ever criteria you were tracking and then at the end of the month the top 10 ( of those 25 on the list you see on the leaderboards page ) were given the award.

  • Oh! I didn't understand your question correctly. You are correct the horses listed on the Top Producing list are the top 25 best producing horses in the game, on any given day of the month. And yes, the top 10 of THOSE get the awards. Sorry!
