Need Help Deciding What To Do With Evergreen Line
-
I'm needing to cut down on the projects I have going, I *love* that they don't varnish out, but I've got my new Onyx and Watercolor/Onyx project, and Lace and Autumn mixed with those, plus Mushroom liver project, Marzipan Stolen line, and trying to keep my Shooting Starz line going. Not 100% on selling them or not, or keeping them until the Gift Exchange next month. So What would you do/what would you price them at?
The line includes; 1 EG foundation stud, 2 EG foundations mares (one blackout), 21 offspring. 14 straws and 24 eggs (9 from the blackout mare) and 6 embryos.

looks like a lot of the offspring were spelded; in which case let them earn you money if you have the barn space imo ; as for the others LOTS of people breed for apps / leopards so gifting them or selling them should be easy if that's what you decide ; I know 'someone' collects Evergreens in here ( maybe @Corvus ? ) who can give you fair pricing

What I’ve been doing with my pinto line, since I don’t necessarily want to get rid of them either, is absorb them into my main line.
Since they don’t varnish, they might be fun in your onyx line. Onyx + Appy is neat!Post edited by paradoxphoenix at 2020-05-26 03:36:22Thanked by 1HelenofTroy -
I do and I don't have the barn space if that makes any sense :)). Most of those spelds were by me. @annismyrph
@paradoxphienix I'd love to incorporate them into that line, but my watercolor stud is appy already, and I'm not sure if hes varnish or not.Licensed for: All Axiom Genes, All Rainbow Riot 1 & 2 Genes, Splash M, Phantom except for Wisp, All Ice, Mushroom, Onyx, DFP2, Shatterglass, Chinchilla, Platinum and Height Regulator -
Snowflake shows in the APP line as sn / - or sn/ sn
its one of the best improvements in the past month of the Gene Wizards :)

Sorry for some reason it didn't show that I had been pinged here. As for the Evergreen HH they were a huge thing at Christmas, but not as "Had to Have" for the Appy breeders as say the Marzipan Stollen and the Ghost of Christmas Present. I would price them at 15k .... They have foals on the ground which means they can't be GTM'd, none of them are carrying hidden snowflake. If the foals were sold back and they could be GTM'd then they would increase in value.
I'd be happy to take the two mares for my Appy line if your interested? -
@annismyrph from my understanding the gene that causes varnish is still hidden, I know DP, KP, GP, and Snowflake are now visible in the tests. I have this line and the Marzipan Stollen line going.
@Corvus I think I might keep them, for now. I love the none varnishing.Licensed for: All Axiom Genes, All Rainbow Riot 1 & 2 Genes, Splash M, Phantom except for Wisp, All Ice, Mushroom, Onyx, DFP2, Shatterglass, Chinchilla, Platinum and Height Regulator -
