With the coming of june I figured I'd get a jump start on the threads about how many horses retired due to old age :D I currently have 5255 horses, shall see if I loose any at roll over. :D

Yeah, only horses that are 17 and over now can "die" at rollover :)

I have 2534 that could pass this time.

Welp, three more months before my oldest horse turns 17, so I’m just waiting for all my 9 year olds to age up so I can auction them!

I culled and auctioned a ton this month, so now I only have 73 that could pass at rollover

I have 8 at stake. I’ve been culling them down gradually all month in the auction. I start culling my 16s fairly aggressively, too.

Let's see I have 210 horses that are currently 17 or over. Oldest is 23.

65 on the block for me, including a good chunk of some of the very first horses I ever made when I first joined the game just over a year ago :( Oldest is 21.

@ichigo I hope he stays around! I didn’t know that horses could live that long!

The good thing about being new is that your horses aren’t at risk for a few months :).

I had 79 pass along due to old age this rollover :D
I wasn't narrowing it down by age, that was my total amount of horses so I could just do a owner # search and subtract to find out how many retired, so right now after lossing the 79 I've got 75 left that are 18 or older. I didn't search for 17's since they would have been 16 at roll over time.

I lost about a dozen, including so many of my early foundies :( Even though they werent "anything special" and I've learned a lot and made different lines since creating those horses, it was still hard to see them go!

Lost the second horse I ever created this rollover... my first is still kicking!

I never count, it hurts too much :))

But this year I lost two of my favourite foundation stallions.

This one was the Hunt and Jump-version of my real life horse:

And I also lost this one:

x Dark Night of the Soul

Luckily I pulled a lot of straws from them both, and they have given me fantastic offspring to continue their legacy

I lost 50 of a possible 160-something. A hit to the daily show payout but could have been worse!

I lost about 45 show horses, but only a 5k hit to my daily bonus, so it wasn't bad but it could have been worse.
