Hey friends,

So as I mentioned in a post I made just minutes ago haha, I have gotten quite behind on this game and a little discouraged with how unorganized I am. Part of that is how behind I am in naming my horses! I feel strongly about naming each of my breeding horses as to me that gives them a character and an identity that makes the game a lot more fun - but it sure is hard to come up with enough unique names lol!

So I thought I'd reach out and see if anyone would like helping me name the lot of horses I'm behind on naming! This isn't a naming "content," and as such I won't promise or guarantee any sort of compensation for offering a name I choose, nor will I be able to be in this thread "announcing" which names I pick or anything like that. However, if you take the time to go through my horses and help me out, please also take a look at my stallions and if you would like straws from anybody just shoot me a direct message and I would be more than happy to send you some for pull price or less as a thank you for taking the time to help :)

All that being said - here's the criteria I usually go through for naming:
-Foundations: Anything goes, I love pop culture references of any kind! Lyrics, quotes, film references etc.
-Lined horses: I try to name them something related to their lineage. This can either be some kind of "combination" of the sire or dam's name, or a name fitting the "theme" of names earlier in their lineages. For example, I have a sire named Aspen who has a whole bundle of foals named after trees :)
-If there's a cool name for a lined horse I might use it even if it doesn't fit the criteria in the bullet above, I'm not too strict haha
-I do NOT put any abbreviations, labels, etc. in my horse's names except my FTF suffix. I use tattoos to delineate lines, gens etc. so no need for that in the name!
-I use the random name generator for my show herd, but prefer to name my breeding horses more intentionally, hence why I made this thread :) You are welcome to use the random generator when offering suggestions but if the names are too off the wall I probably wont use them for my breeding horses.
