It's showing up on a lot of other horses too.

I've looked multiple times but cannot see anything unusual, can someone point it out for me? ;))

Are you commenting on the DP in their gene set? If so, that is Dense Pheomelanin, which increases the amount of red pigment so that the coat is darkened more than normal. Two regular sooty copies + DP or 1 Ssty + 2 copies of DP will make a liver chestnut. If the horse also carries 1 Ccr, it will be a Chocolate Palomino.

DP also works to darken the red hairs on a bay and on Red Dun's, Bay Duns, Palomino Duns, or Perlino Duns and so forth, but none of those have a special name for the presence of DP and Ssty, so we have to learn to see them by experience. Pieces of Eight is matched with Champagne genes, so they don't have a special name either, if homozygous sooty and a Cream gene is included in their gene set.

@SandyCreekAcres no I fully understand what DP is. But there was literally something in the gene code that said "Dun Factor Promoter !/!". But Ammit must have removed it after i posted. It must be something new that wasn't supposed to be active yet
