Exceptionally Perfect Dark...Palomino?
  • My dark chestnut was not even chestnut but palomino. Unfortunate since I breed liver chestnuts.
  • Yep, I got a cremello on the mesa server. The Herd Helper activate ee and stysty, but does not touch the other genes.

What bone/height to do you need? I haven't made mine yet and I'll swap with you if you want.

  • Me too, I got a Perlino.

It's unlucky but as said above it only guarantees you'll get an ee aa SstySsty horse. :(( Still maybe there is someone that breeds for these ponies that we can sell to.

  • @DarkFrost, well, you shouldn't have been able to get a perlino. Perlinos require at least one dominant extension E.

(It doesn't guarantee aa - agouti has no effect on red-based horses.)

  • Are you sure you want to keep chocolate palominos out of your liver program? It's fun to breed both together

Also @DarkFrost, did you mean cremello, or are you talking about something else? Perlino is hom cream on bay

  • I breed livers and chocolates on Mesa and I am literally hunting down all of the palominos and cremellos I can find. I have no use for them here, but I'm sure someone does!

  • Palomino is still a chestnut just with a coat modifier.
There's technically only 2 coat colors. Red (ee) and Black (EE). Everything after that is a coat modifier. Yours just happen to get a cream gene.
  • Oh I forgot I could make her chocolate palomino and already bred her. Darn! I do breed chocolate palominos with my livers.
  • @Arrenath - you can sell her foal and GMT her. You won't be able to breed her again this season, but it sounds like she will be more useable for you going forward.
