    I just about died when the new inheritable brindle came out. As a closet or not so closet brindle chaser it's :x so of COURSE I had to trick a boy out. Please meet my new brindle maker, who correct me if I am wrong, should always throw some form of stripe?

    He will always throw Dun and DFP1. But there needs to be two copies of DFP1 for the stripes to show, so unless he's crossed with DFP1 positive mares, his children won't have stripes. Breeding his children with each other will result in about 25% of his grandchildren having homozygous DFP1.
