is there an age limit for taking straws from a stallion?
I have 8 stallions that are breedable in my barn but only 3 show in the lab list for taking straws from

Any stallion 2 and under you can't get straws from because they are too young,and I think when they turn 19 you can't pull anymore from them because they are too old.

All 8 of mine are between 3 and 6 yrs old but only the two 3 yr olds and the 4 yr old show on the list as studs I can take straws from

I've noticed this on HJ2...some studs (that are definitely of age) don't show up for individual straw pulls but do show up for mass straw pulls. Try mass straw pull (you can pull just one straw if you'd like) and see if you have any luck.

Nope all in my barn. Haven't got any boys out in the pasture in case I accidently breed the wrong sets when the time comes.

Then the only other thing I can think of, is checking how you have named them. I have found that even an extra space placed somewhere in the name, can sometimes keep the horse from showing up on the list. I have that problem all the time, especially with all the horses I have, of finding them from their names, and usually it is because of something stupid I did in the name.

I've checked their names and fiddled around with them to see if there are any extra spaces or if caps versus lower case letters make a difference but they still don't show.

Just as an aside, you should probably test your stallions, admittedly rank special foundations will pass anyway but a good habit to get into!

The 5 that don't show up were created before I upgraded my account. Could that be why they are not listing?

all normal HH creates have been through basic testing and passed the showing and snip tests
Didn't bother with the rank specials but suppose I should get round to it this season

Kintara I'm not sure where to look for the drop down list. I'm playing on an iPad or iPhone so not sure if the pages sow differently on a mobile device to a PC or laptop.
I can only see details of the three boys I posted above, can't see a drop down

It's at the bottom of the pull a straw page :) Other then that, I have no idea. Never had an issue with the straw page.

Definitely no drop down on my pull a straw page. It just tells me I have 3 studs to choose from and gives me the option to pull a straw from each with a button.

Jemina - what's at the very bottom edge of the page? If that's what you're seeing as the bottom, then you only have like 3/4 of the page displayed.

Big gap of nothing down to the blue strip with the Facebook and Twitter logos etc.
am I missing something?
Also is this anything to do with those 3 studs being created after I upgraded whereas the other 5 were around when I was just a grade 1 player?

Yes...yes you are missing something. :/ I can pull it up on my iPhone, so that's not the issue. Do me a favor please? Completely log out of the game (hit the log out button on every window you have open), and log back in?

Have logged out and closed all the windows on my phone. Logged out on my iPad and back in twice and there's no difference, still the 3 studs to choose from and no drop down options like your image :(

Do you have the options on iPad to use a different browser? Maybe Chrome or Firefox? I know you can use them on Apple computers.

It may be a compatibility issue with that version of Safari - I have no clue what version is on my old phone. The only way to rule that out is for you to be able to try a different browser.

Ah..just realized you're a level four. The mass straw collection may be a level five only option. I'll have to double check with Ammit, but I know the mass egg flush is only on level 5's, could be the same for stallions.

But we still have the issue with the other stallions not showing up. Did you create them or buy them?

I've switched to IE instead of Safari but the only difference is there's no big gap between the last stud and the bottom of the page. Still no mass pull option so you may be right about it being a level 5 only perk.
All my stallions are creates but the 5 I can't see to pull straws from were created before I upgraded from my starter account to level 4. Could that be the reason they don't show?
