    I think one is better at both showing and breeding and the other just breeding

    Exceptionally Perfect: "They will have greater than 100% breeding ability and greater than 100% training ability. They also will have perfect consistency."

    Exceptional Producer: "They will have greater than 100% breeding ability."

    I was told many years ago that Exceptionally Perfect was effectively Exceptional Producer plus Exceptional Show, together in one horse.
    I don't know if that's true, but if you read all 3 descriptions, it seems like it would be.

    That's what I was thinking, but then I started worrying that I should not be breeding my ex perf with my ex pro and then I started way over thinking things.

    I believe Exceptional Producers come in a range of breeding abilities, starting at just higher than a perfect foundation, but Exceptionally Perfects are always significantly better than a perfect foundation.

    My experience has been that Exceptionally Perfect horses have a PT of 10.4. Exceptional Producers have extremely variable showing ability. I just found one in my stable with a PT of 0.2, others with 0.3, 1.9, 2.9, 5.2, all on the first 3 of 10 pages. The majority of them have PT scores somewhere in the 9's.

    Exceptional producers, and exceptionally perfect have the same breeding ability. It's just that ExPerfects also have exceptional showing, so yeh a PT of 10.4

    Huh, I could've sworn I read that they weren't the same somewhere.

    Shoot that means at some point I have to go through my foundie mares again. :((
