I can't spend any more ACTUAL dollars on genes, but I want to do more with this lady. I added silver to her first set of dna, which looks more brown than anything, but I'm not sure what else I want to add. I think I want to keep the other set black, and maybe add some white somewhere.

Any ideas? I'm a little stumped, but I know she could turn out great.

Is there a resource somewhere to see examples of all the kit genes and the other ones? I've looked them up on horses in the search feature, but usually horses with one white marking have at least two, so it's hard to pinpoint what's splash and what's frame, etc, sometimes.

In the search set the gene you want to required and no mutation KIT to required and you will always see horses with just one copy of that gene alone.

So I think we're getting there! I probably won't breed her this coming season, just to see if there's anything else I want to do, but I'm really happy with her so far. Thanks so much to annismyrph for the help with the GMTs!

When i am not sure if a am done with a mare i will put gmt in front of the name i do this for all my projects. I will pull eggs or mass flush on my projects. Maybe you know this but if not its nice to know. As long as you dont use the eggs you can still gmt the mare.
This is a great feature especially when they are special mares

Thank you! Unfortunately I only have a basic upgrade and I don't think I can do anything with eggs, but since I talked myself into putting diamond sparkle on her, I'm probably close to finishing her up.

@OscarWildin You can create an embryo from her every season, and I think as long as you don't use that embryo you can still GMT her :)

Yes! I do it for a lot of my foundations, since I don't have many mares, that means I can still work on them without missing a season or if they're done getting GMT'd I can get 2 foals out of them in one season (not always in tact, but)

@kgstable that's such a great idea. So even if you don't get the massive number that you would get from an egg flush, no breeding season goes to waste.
