    Last year I bred this gorgeous stud colt who meets almost all of my goals, but he didn't test superior to sire. For a mare I might let that slide since his coloring is perfect, but I just can't breed him as is. I cannot afford to spend any rl money right now on boosting him so I am going to try to raise enough game money for it, but it seems impossible. My daily show bonus is only a little over 14k right now and even if I don't breed anything the next 2 months I'm not sure how to do it. Any suggestions on how to get the money? What would you do with him?

    I love Warmbloods with lots of Sooty and DP. Dark Mahogany Bays, Liver Chestnuts, and Blacks make me super happy. I love horses with color, dfp1, nd1, gray, GP, and KP on the dark base. One day I would like to have a herd of high pt, well papered dark beauties. ID# 257941

    a little cheaper suggestion, use 1GMT to make him a mare and wait for a Superior colt to come along. ;;)

    I second DarkFrost's suggestion ; I do a lot of epenor surgeries when a colt is everything BUT and if he is a SHE is perfect

    Also to note as his Dam is Yellow, he would retest Superior once switched. So he would be perfect colouring and benchmark for you.

    @DarkFrost I hadn't thought of it in those terms. I was very much concentrating on the fact that I would have so many fewer chances of getting good foals from a mare vs a stallion simply from sheer numbers.

    First I’d test him against a brother who testes superior, both a A papered 2g and a B papered 2g if you have one. Then you would have a better idea where he’s at. Then you should PM me.

    That's a good idea @Silverstar. I would have a much better idea of where he was at breeding ability wise and whether or not a boost would help him much. I'll message you with the results.

    Don't forget to test the A and the B against each other too. I always pick an A/Blue as my benchmark but get a lot of Superior (to dam) Reds that test AGA to the Blue benchmark.
