Have patience! This is a complex game, which is part of what makes it so fascinating. I've been playing it since 2011, and there are still a few who started longer ago than that. (The game got started in 2006, I think.) Even so, I'm sure that I don't know everything about it yet. The only one who does is Ammit, who invented it and keeps it continually fresh.

I've had a quick look at your stables. You have about one third gelds/spays and about two thirds stallions/mares. You have most of your show horses up for sale. May I suggest that you keep them, show horses are what give you a steady income especially if you enter them in shows twice a week. I know that it is tempting to breed everything, especially when you are starting out and only have a small stable, but you really need more show horses than breeding stock to make hbs. If you can bear to do it, have a look through your stallions and see if there are any you could geld, you need fewer stallions than mares so it pays to keep the best (and favourites!). If you would like I can give you this show horse that has levelled off in a good place (look on the records tab to see he is placing well in shows) and earns 201 hbs a day at the moment (keep showing him and he will gradually earn more) and if you are really desperate for hbs you can sell him at auction for a good price (although that is not my intention in offering him to you, he will make you more in the long run if you keep him).

Meanwhile, keep enjoying this game and don't worry about not really knowing what you are doing. You have probably discovered by now that there is a great community playing this game who are always ready to answer questions and help people out. You just need a bit of patience! :)

Don't worry about the breeding thing, we've all been there and I'm probably just as guilty sometimes even now. I blame Ammit - she just keeps giving us shiny ponies to drool over!

By the way, I thought you might like to know, that when I started playing this game in 2009 one HAJ year was two real life months long, and you could only breed until the 14th of the FIRST month. :O Now that really did require patience.
