@Cleverwolf, to get most fantasy gene licenses you need to buy them with real money from the gene sales that are twice a month. You get new gene options for sale on the first and 15th of the month. You can find it by going to the Upgrades tab, which is also where you can buy things like GMTs, Barns, Pastures and more game cash(hbs) . Only certain genes are available at different times of year as well, such as the Phantom genes are only available near Halloween (except for phantom apples and autumn leaves which come up for sale in the fall).
You can still get some limited genes in the GM Lab where you use Gene Mod Tokens(GMTs) to change, add, or remove genes from any Unbred Foundation horse! In there it is possible to get things like Chocolate, Satin and Tiger eye. Though tokens are a bit expensive when your just starting out but definitely something to look forward to doing in the future!Celestial Angels, The Balinor Breed!
