Papers (Breeding Inspection)
  • Hey Everyone,

I have searched the forums and am apparently using terrible search terms. I cannot find the hierarchy of Breeding Inspection Papers. I just upgraded my account and am now able to paper my horses, but I have NO CLUE which is better. I know there is B, red, yellow, star, and some others, but what are all of the possibilities and how do they rank from worst to best?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate all the help and support from those of you that have knowledge to share!
  • @Exewhyzee ; there is an awesome "Basic info for New Players Guide " by ConfluemceStables ; Link is here : https://www.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/31645/basic-information-for-new-players#Item_15
that might clear some up also : on your task bar under "Resources" there is a FAQ Info guide : link is here :

    hope this helps !

  • You can find this & other things in the FAQ User Guide, which should be under the Resources tab of the menu.

It goes Failed-Yellow-Red-Blue-Gold for mares and Showable Only-C-B-A-Star for stallions.

Gold & Star are currently the highest level papers in the game.

Showable Only & Failed are usually foundation horses, and foundations with those papers will always fail breeding advice. So a foundation that passes BA is at least C or Yellow. All Exceptional Producers/Exceptionally Perfect foundations are Red or B.
  • @annismyrph and @SherwoodStables Thank you both. That was EXACTLY what I was looking for!
  • If you start with C and Yellow as your foundation, you don't want C and Yellow at 2nd gen. You want B and Red at 2nd gen, since you would not want your 2nd generation breeding stock to be at the same level as your starting stock.
