    Chimeric is when something is a chimera, so basically when twins fuse in utero and create two full sets of DNA in one horse.

    I believe it’s based on the mythological chimera. There are several different variations, but the one I see most is head of a lion, body of a goat, and tail of a snake. The chimera is a mish mash of different animals, so a chimeric horse has a mish mash of two sets of DNA.
    I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!
