Instead of entering my foundations in shows, I accidentally entered them in auction. *head on desk*

There goes my entire foundation stock.

I am bidding on them so I can get them back, but I know not everyone reads the forums or plays on the honor system, so I know I won't get them back.

I just can't believe I made this kind of mistake. I don't have the money to replace them either.

Ooh no that sucks! I've had that happen to me sometimes too.

It might help to put something like "please do not bid, this horse was entered in auction by mistake" in capital letters in their notes.

Even if no one bids “Auction Bidder” bids on them. From what I’ve seen they then go into sales for 2750 hbs

Yeah I've put a bid in on all of them, the problem is that others might bid on them regardless.

Ah, sorry, I accidentally bid on one before I realized the owner and other bidder were the same person! Just over bid me and I won't bid again.

Yes, it would be a good idea to rename them all 'Accidental Entry' and/or put something in their notes so people who don't go on the forum realize.

@HarmonyC only a small fraction of the horses the auction bidder buys then go into sales. Most are deleted

Taliesin - Well that explains why I couldn’t find my Gelding that I accidentally put into Auctions. I bet he got deleted. Bummer! I really wanted to buy him back.

If you need help getting them back, let me know!
But I would just bid them all up to a ridiculous price for a foundation. It didn't take anything from your account as you're basically paying yourself

Well what would be a "ridiculous" price for a foundation? My foundation stallions have had a lot of GMT work done.

Since my horses were saved, I figure the least I can do is send eggs to the people that did bid on two mares as a gesture of good will and a thank you for not bidding further (since I didn't know that Ammit was gonna save the day until after the fact). That way, it's not a complete loss for them and they still do get a little something.
