Spooky greetings folks! Halloween has always been one of my favourite holidays and since the community on this game has been so awesome I wanted to come up with a fun giveaway and a contest to celebrate it with you.

I am welcoming trick or treaters to my stable this week (closing at midnight Oct. 31st) All you need to do is leave a post here saying “Trick or Treat” with either a horse that you’ve dressed up in a costume using any tack pack(s), or with a description of a cool costume idea if you don’t have many tack packs to work with. The first 20 trick or treaters who come to my stable will either get a “treat” or a “trick”.

How it works is that I ran a random number generator 20 times and recorded the results in order. If you arrive on an even number you will get a “treat” horse, but if you arrive on an odd number you will be saddled with a monster-themed “trick” horse that even Doris didn't know what to do with.

For example, if I generated 4, 9, and 12 then the first and third people to reply would get a “treat” and the second person to reply would get a “trick”.

You're welcome to keep these tricky monsters haunting your barn or you can always drop them in the auction for a free 2,500hbs.

Trick or Treat! If I get a Treat I would love either the Vault of Stars Warmblood Mare or the Peach Ice Cream. Either one would be a Lovely Treat!

Trick or Treat! My treat that I would prefer would be either the Dark Chocolate girl(caramel chocolate gift) or the Conversation Hearts mare(valentine gift)! Would like a riding horse for my lines, thanks! Here's my spooky girl!

Rosemary Thyme and her ghost friends have come by to say "Trick or Treat!". Our favorite treat would only include being a riding horse mare :) Otherwise we love all kinds of different treats! Happy halloween!

Wow, we're almost at halfway already and some really great costumes too!

The ghost with the skeleton bones look is really spooky @Gildedfire and @kgstable and we've got some great vampires @HarmonyC and @Tzano. Love the very scary zombie from @bluchrystals Plus we've got some dark magic practitioners from @HorseAngel and @OscarWildin. Really like the spiderwebs with the ghost effect @annismyrph and of course a big shout out to the friendly carousel horse @ChateauAlbere.

I'm going to send you each a PM to sort out your gifts in the order that you responded over the next day or so to avoid cluttering up this thread. It will take some time for me to check which horse the winners would like out of their preferences so if you don't hear from me right away, don't worry!

Of our first five trick or treaters, congratulations to @HorseAngel and @OscarWildin and oh no! it looks like a sneaky monster has crept into your barns: @HarmonyC, @Tzano and @annismyrph.

Trick or Treat. I don’t have any tack packs to work with, but I like the ghost with the skeleton. I would probably use that if I could.

Trick or Treat! I do not have a tack pack yet but some day I hope to! If I ever get a Halloween one I would like it to be a dragon costume! i would like for my horse to have a dragon headpiece with glowing red eyes and a dragon style braid for its hair complete with scales woven in. I would like a scaly saddle that has a long dragon tail attached to the back. Some flashy decretive dragon fluffs for the feet to complete a full effect.

Hello, welcome to the latest trick or treaters, I'm getting a very wicked witch from OZ vibe from @cissycat, and I completely agree @MountainView it is a really cool look! Also have to say I love the dragon idea @TennesseeRain a dragon-scale saddle would be super cool!

I'll send you each a PM sometime today or tomorrow to sort out gifts, but thus far, congrats to @TennesseeRain and oh no! @MountainView and @cissycat you'd better hide the good oats, some sneaky monsters have crept into your stables!

Alright, and wrapping up this Halloween giveaway is @HorseCrazyByNature with a very spooky vampiric skeleton who might also be training in some dark magic on the side! I like the classic witch idea as well @RalphsCritters, and of course a cat makes for a great familiar.

Congrats to @RalphsCritters on receiving a treat, but oh no... @HorseCrazyByNature it looks like you've got a devious monster who has decided that your barn is the perfect place to haunt!
