They are pretty show ponies. Just remember they are going to be your money makers in the show ring...more money, means more horses to breed in the future.

I have to agree with Humboldt ; to have a sustainable breeding herd you should have at least 3 show ponies per breeding horse . other wise yur daily HB's wont cover your costs.

I have a feeling with the .50 PT difference this combo may always get altered IF I test it. I may do it again next breeding season and not test them. I really do like these 2 foals. It’s a shame they got Altered.

annismyrph - That’s what i was talking about when I said the .50 PT different. Their Sire is 9.90 and their Dam is 10.40. So I know this cross will end up altered every time.

Oh I see. Well they’re bred from a Red to a C and a B to a Yellow.

Red x B or C x yellow would be the best pairing if you don’t want them to be altered (higher chance of foals that will pass breeding advice).

I’ll say it one last time. These foals were bred FOR FUN! They are not meant to be part of my Breeding Program. I am just upset because they happened to turn out to be exactly one of the colors that I am breeding for but as I said I did not breed them with the intention of them becoming breeders in my herd. Hope that makes sense!

Well I went through literally ALL of my horses and Papered Every Single One of Them! Honestly I like it better now because now I can see what I’m breeding. Also some of my Stallions came up as Red Papered so I’m hoping that people will want breedings from them. :)

Seaswell - Thank you! I actually have 3 different lines that I am breeding on here. My main focus is on My Black Splash line. I’m also loving my Snowflakes. I think they’re really pretty! I just got bored the other night and decided to try some Fun combos. Mostly because I liked their names together. LOL Like a Bring Back the Sun to a Catch a Blue Moon or a Dark Chocolate to a Strawberry Moon. Who doesn’t like Chocolate Covered Strawberries? Unless of course you’re allergic to strawberries.
