All horses will be at least heterozygous(SpsSp) for the splash gene, but might also be homozygous (SpsSps). Horses may have a black or blue roan base color. Horses might also have other patterns.

Thanks so much for posting this -- I love black-based horses. Just a heads up though, in the future people are more likely to find this in the Herd Helpers discussion category, and you may even find a few you'd like to use :)
