Things are really stressful for me and my family right now.. My mom, dad, and sister that I live with all tested positive for covid.. and now me and my boyfriend tested positive today. I am super sick and mentally feeling pretty down because of it. I hate being cooped up and not being able to see my horse, but I know its something that needs to happen. You never realize how grateful you are for being able to go out in public for anything really, until you are sick and need to stay away from everyone.

So, I need some distraction... If you could pick AT most 3 horses in your barn that are your favorite, which would they be, and why?

Also, I will be trying to get some motivation to make an ad later on for selling eggs.. I'm pretty broke on here and needing some funds to continue getting some breeding done this season. I have quite a few eggs from some of my blingy founation girls. :)

She’s my favorite by far! She’s everything I had hoped for in a Snowflake Appaloosa. She’s Homozygous Snowflake and a Black Appaloosa. Technically she fits into 2 of my lines that I’m breeding. As her name says she’s “Appsolute Perfection”

Hey, sorry to hear that you and your family are dealing with covid right now, best wishes for everyone's recovery. I've been sick this week too (although not as bad), and it is the worst not to be able to do anything, although having a computer helps. Hang in there!

To answer your question, here are my top 3 horses. I'd have to pick Star because she was my first pasture-bred foal that was the best of her pasture and she had the most epic first place show results in her early years. Also have to pick Abyssal because he is my first (and only) GMT project and I think he kind of looks like the northern lights. And finally, I'd have to pick Leoa here because I think she looks really cool and it's hard to argue with the dapples.

These three are definitely my favourite. They're all from the same sire, same season. I think Miriam is just absolutely beautiful, Kota stole my heart from day 1 (and eventually gave me super cute foals) and Long Nights is the 3rd best showing lined horse I have... My only lined horses that have more points than her are at least twice her age.

at most three! :-O I definitely didn't just spend 30 minutes trying to choose...

1X Erebus SA
First up my dependable foundation mare Erebus. She's given me 119 foals so far, and many superior colts from a range of sires. She may be a little plain to some, but with her being 18 this season, i'll be sad when she goes :(

7 Blackjack DP
next up is Black Jack, my mostly homebred 7th gen boy who, so far, is the culmination of my liver lines. he is #1 on the liver leaderboard in his first season. onwards and upwards from here, though so far it has just been many many snipped foals haha.

1X Apocalypse DFP
lastly my newest foundation mare. excited to put dpf1 and 2 into my liver lines, and they aren't classed as fantasy genes so I can still use them for leaderboard breeding as well! :D

Silver creek - I seriously love Erebus! When you say they dont have any fantasy genes so they can be used as leaderboard horses, can they not be put on a leaderboard if they have special genes?

Most fantasy genes are eligible for only one leaderboard - the fantasy one. So it's pretty crowded there.

And yeah what Forestshadow said, if they have even one copy of a phantom gene or het chocolate or something they all go into the fantasy club, and i think the only other clubs they can be registered in are the era clubs. So there's way to much competition for the fantasy leaderboard haha

I have so many but to pick three it would be these guys. The first two were created with the new chimerism system. I have four of them but these guys turned out so nice. mix up the genes a little and its a surprise with what you get at breeding season. The last one is one of my foundation satin boys ... gonna be sad when he passes on :(

Wow so many beautiful horses! Well i have finally got my new Phantom Clean Slate stud done! He may not be very flashy but a lot of work went into him and I am pretty proud of him too! I do hope you will start to feel better really soon! Sending warm wishes and prayers your way! >:D< :)
