I'm really happy with this guy. I'm thinking clone him when he gets to about 13 to be on the safe side, or should I go earlier? 10? The thought of playing Pick-Up Straws trying to get the same genetics using straws instead of cloning is a little overwhelming.
  • Looks like I'm going the pick-up-straws route... the price for cloneing is 87 iv's
  • Most of the Horses in the game live to 17 at a minimum ; so you have a bit of time left

  • Yeah, horses aren't in danger until after they turn 17. Once they turn 17, then they are at danger of dying every rollover after that.
  • Everything will go over to the clone. If you think about it you probably spend close to $40 real money on the horse, two Iv’s per dollar isn’t that bad.

If I were you id wait and save up to clone him. On my main account I did that with one of my stallions.
This boy was my first Chinchilla, and I couldn’t stand seeing him go. So I cloned him... twice.

This is the stallion replacement. I added quite a few fancy genes to him. I had three months to save, so I added everything I wanted on Segen originally.

Originally I had just wanted to GMT the second clone to a mare so I’d have a hom chinchilla foundation mare. But I ended up GMTing her into a match for Gunhild.

I spent a lot of GMT’s and Iv’s on those two. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat.

  • Yup cloning is a bargain compared to recreating a fancy horse.
