This may seem like a silly question, but I just need to double check myself. White factor is inherited, right? Extensive x extensive would give extensive?
Also, is their a range like height, so the above could produce heavy.

White Factor is relatively random, I believe.

As a sample, I have checked out 7 foals from one of my pasture stallion.

Foal's WF: Large

The range of white factor runs: None, Minimal, Small, Light, Medium, Large, Extensive, I believe. White Factor affects the amount of white caused by Kit and Splash mutations. It has no effect on Appaloosa patterns.

I think there is a range value of 1 or 2 higher or lower than the contributions from the parents, like with that Medium x None = Large cross, because Large is one value higher than Medium.

Maybe someone’s done it, but to the best of my knowledge, None x None either has no chance or has an extremely small chance of giving you Extensive.

Thank you all. I am looking at playing with sabino combinations in a new line and am working toward a certain balance in expression with certain combinations. Most of what I want is light and minimal expression, much like these two.

the chart might help you the most in that case ; as to which are OK combo's and which arent :)

It is not leathality that I am looking at here (although I will be monitoring the combinations), but the actual expression.

aha OK ; you might want to use the search then ; you can choose the white factor expressed and just peek at what they look like
