How to price straws...?
-
I'd love to do a straw sale, but I realized I have no idea how to price them...
What do you do when you're pricing your straws?
I know a horse like this guy would have a higher straw fee than this guy, but I'm not sure what either of their straws as foundations would go for much less how to price my 2G+ kids...
Any help would be appreciated. :) -
My straws are based on pull price + stud fee, which I base off of a modified version of the CheshireFarms Tips & Tricks for Pricing Your Studs post (I take the last zero off of everything, and if the horse is het I divide by two, so for a hom sooty horse I would add 20 to the stud fee and for a het sooty horse I would add 10 to the stud fee).
My base stud fee for lined horses is typically 100-250 depending on generation and desirable gene combos.I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!Thanked by 1Rosielizard -
