Snowflake HH horse is plain chestnut?

I created my daily HH horse which was Homo Snowflake today and it's just a plain chestnut? Not even an appaloosa... Is that how Snowflake works in this game?

Read the description of the HH - it s all right there.
Rank Special: Homozygous Snowflake
All horses will be homozygous for the snowflake gene. The appaloosa gene is not included and snowflake will not show without the addition of the appaloosa (Lp) gene.

Ammit specifically mentions in the description of this herd helper that it is not programmed to provide the Lp gene necessary for snowflake to be expressed.

Just like bay can’t be expressed without a copy of E, snowflake can’t be expressed without a copy of LP :)I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it.
