Understanding Chinchilla

So I'm pretty new to the fantasy genes and I adore how the chinchilla looks. Does it only show on black based horses? I know it needs 2 copies to be seen so I modified my chocolate Palomino not expecting her to turn all white. Before today, she only had one copy and I'm kind of sad because I loved how she looked before I added the second. Is there a way to edit her to make the chinchilla spots visible at least? You can see how she looked before but if you open her profile, she's white as a ghost!

Chestnut turns white with chinchilla and Black doesn't change with chinchilla.. you can change her to any variant of bay/silver bay or silver black and the chinchilla will show.. if you look up horses who are hom chinchilla in the search, you'll see all different looks for chinchilla.

Silver doesn't show on Chestnut though.. either way, at minimum, 2 stands will need to be changed to get it to show weather it be E/e Z/z or E/e A,At,A+/a
