Emails from game?
  • Am I supposed to be receiving emails from HAJ? I've seen mentions of them in the forum. I did check, my email information is correct.

    For example, the 1000 point horse I never received an email regarding that.

  • you might have to look in your junk folder, that is where mine was.

  • Some email companies block newsletters. If that is the case sadly the only option is to use a different email host. Gmail seems to be very reliable.

  • It is Mailchimp they are blocking if that is indeed the issue.

  • Sometimes my gmail sends it to my spam folder, or in my promotions folder

  • I never used to get them on my hotmail account, so opened a gmail account, just for Hajinc. But when mesa started I used my regular hotmail there and they seem to come through ok now. Although I usually have to go looking for them, they never just come into the main inbox

  • This may sound obvious, but did you actually sign up for the newsletter?

  • Good idea, White Valley. Even though you get an email about your pasture foals, I never got the newsletter until I specifically signed up for it :)
    I’m autistic and I struggle with any kind of communication, so I apologize in advance if I say anything rude or offensive because there’s a 99% chance that I have no clue I did it. I appreciate your patience with me!
  • That's probably the culprit then. Where do I go to sign up?
  • 1. Go to Member Home under My Stable.
    2. Open up Account and Stable Management
    3. Click on Manage Email Settings.

    You should see the option to sign up for the newsletter on that page.

  • Found it, but it has my right email when I tried to change the settings. It says I'm already subscribed.
  • Just how email services work, many are very aggressive at spam blocking and some will refuse to let you get newsletters and such. If that is the case there is nothing you nor I can do to fix it. We use the largest newsletter sending service for a reason because they are the ones that work that stuff out with the email companies. Sometimes with cases like Kintara posted they start accepting our emails as Mailchimp works out deals but for small email companies sometimes they may never accept our emails.

    If you really want emails for us you may have to use a company that doesn't block mailchimp.

  • Reall odd, has me shaking my head.

    when i was clearing browse history, I was fooling around looking at other options, and a message came up which appeared to be worded saying the browser was blocking some sites. could that be the problem? i don't see how it can be.
  • Browser has nothing to do with your email client, unless it’s blocking the client itself - but then you wouldn’t be able to access email at all.
