    So I just bought this boy, now question is do I keep him a liver chestnut or do I put bay on him?

    If you'd really prefer a bay, you could add an E from his sire and an A from his dam, but I think he's lovely just the way he is.

    Did you buy him for the GP or the Liver? If he was intended to use on GP mares, I would for sure make him bay to increase chances of foals showing GP.

    His dad doesn’t carry Agouti so I can’t make him a bay. Only his dam carried it

    His dad carries the E that he needs to be bay, along with the A from his dam that you've added. You just need to give him that Black allele.

    Right now, he's ee aA. However, since his sire is Ee, where he is ee, so you will be able to add a black E to him.
