I'm also curious if the transaction record only lists the entry fees, but not the hbs that horses win from participating in the shows too?

After all, if you have a horse that performs at least in the middle of their class they will win enough hbs to cover their entry fee, or even make a profit.

E.g. Looking at my horse here, he showed in the 8L class, which cost 40hbs to enter. He won 42hbs and 3 points from placing 6th.

So a lot of show entries should be a net zero or a profit, yes?

I don't know why the entries show but the prizes* don't, but I have been online at the time those happen.

You definitely get paid back in prizes*, I don't think I've ever lost money overall. If you happen to be on at the time, you can see when the hbs get taken out for entries, and when they get added for rewards*.

I'm guessing it doesn't show hb rewards* because they don't all come in at once? Shows take different amounts of time to run.

We used to get all the info from a show, because it was one of the main ways to make money. When we changed to the point system the show winnings were no longer important, and the data/archives from YEARS of shows for MILLIONS of horses was seriously clogging up the system, so it was removed. You can still see the last 3-4 shows, and which horses were in which classes and how they placed, but the rest of it is making room for 'better' stuff like tack, and tobiano updates! :P :D
