    What would you do, Keep, Auction, Keep for a while until...?
    (not taking coat into consideration)

    This may be low hb compared to what you would do with your own horses, but that's about my average, I don't get high scores yet like some of you.

    oh, and I've decided to cull some of my studs, I've got way too many. *Way* too many.

    As long as I have room, I never cull any show horses. All money is good money to me :)

    One thing I look at is how a show horse is placing. He is placing at the top of his class so should be slowly gaining points each time he shows, which means his daily payout will grow. If he levels up, he will no longer be placing well, and it will be time to auction for his lifetime payout.

    Thank you for your help. I’m just not sure what Top of the class (in numbers) is,I don’t think it is in one of the resources Ammit has made. What you’re saying I do understand though and it makes sense to me. Yes,I ran out of room in my barns.

    The higher a horse places in shows the more points he wins as well as prize hjbs. He is placing second out of ten horses, which is really quite good. I don’t think most of us could rattle off exactly how many points he makes per win or hjbs.

    I when I run out of space I usually cull my mares first. Less mares equals less babies and less stalls are used.
