Im super excited about it but as far as everything else goes hes below average. Why wont it let me GMT him? -
Because he is a gelding :) Only intact horses can be GMTed.ID 195859

Is there a way to unalter him?

Yes, you can unalter a horse that you created in the Advanced Facilities tab where it says "Unalter Horses". It costs a GMT. However, bear in mind that if he was altered from testing, if you test him again he will be gelded again.
