Account Has broken rules?
  • I don't know which forum to put this on, so I'll put it here.
Recently, one of my other accounts (I believe we were allowed three, so I have that many) came up with a message when I logged in, saying I had broken the rules? I am not sure what to do about it, and would like to contact a moderator, if possible.
The account is called 'Dawn Brooke'

If anyone can help, that would be great?
  • I'm guessing it is because you have 8 accounts total...

  • Gael4ce is a moderator she is very friendly. I am sure she will help you out.
  • Maribo, that list isn't always right, so I wouldn't go by it. I'm associated with 8 stables, and I only have one. Most I ever had is two, and the other was deleted ages ago.
  • lydia, it is not the associated stables page, it is the "all stables owned by this member" page :)

  • Guys....neither of the pages you can see are always right. ;) I can see a lot more, and Ammit can see way more than I can.

    @Moon Rise Stables ,

From the rules: "There is a limit of 3 free accounts per household.
All accounts owned by a single member must have the same email address.
Creating more then 3 accounts even if some or most are deactivated is still a lockable office."

Note the "per household" part....that's where most people get tripped up. :) It's not per person, which is what most people assume.

All those accounts were accessed from the same computer, this makes them part of the same household. It doesn't matter if it was you and a sibling, or you and a friend, or you and a cousin, or what...once they are accessed through the same computer, they are considered in the same household. So they may not really all be your accounts, but they were played from the same computer. This would also apply if someone else has an account and you play your account from their house.

We have to do that otherwise people create a hundred accounts and pretend they all belong to their "friends".

We have other problems with people abusing the system by creating an account, spending all the money trying to create just the right horse, closing it, and creating another account and so forth over and over. So the person that does that ends up having unlimited funds to go after the horse they want and that is not fair to people who play the game correctly.

So when there is a surplus of accounts, we close the most recently opened and leave the original ones. This is what happened to your accounts. You have three in your household between Blue Moon, Moon Rise and Dawnfire. That is your household limit. I do realize that Dawnfire was deactivated, but you can reactivate it any time up until the system deletes it (I think that's like three months from the last time you accessed it) so it does count against your total so long as it shows up.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. PM's are fine - I'm actually more likely to see those faster than a post on the forum. :)
  • The others were created but I was still getting the hang of the game, so were deactivated. I didn't realise they counted, that's probably why!
