Show us your “Heart Horse”!

Post a picture of your favorite horse on your account and you will be entered to win a copy of the new Hearts gene on the horse of your choice! Tell us, in a SHORT, one sentence note, why this is your “Heart Horse”. Only posts with a picture will be accepted.

You can only enter one horse per account, but if you have more than one account you can enter a horse for each account you own.
Entries will be accepted until Friday, Feb 19th.

This was my first DP-carrying stallion and the foundation of my liver lines. I got more intact foals from this one than any other stallion I’ve had. And he didn’t pass along the 4.8 PT:)

DP Build An Empire
While I don't use him so much anymore, and have moved on to fancier horses, this is my most loved horse!
He was my first attempt at trying to GMT foundations when I had only just started playing, he caused my long standing love of Sooty, DP Silver Bays and he is my most used herd sire. Almost all of my older horses/lines are related to him. I will be so upset when he ages out/passes away.

My heart horse has got to be this girl, mostly because she’s my most expensive modified horse, and have finally gotten two genes I have really wanted but haven’t been able to afford until now with her.

My (soon to pass) Heart horse would have to be this boy:

1B Gold Of The Sea Hom DP

He really started my love for liver pearls and ND1 which is what I mainly breed for, nearly Every lined horse that I own can be traced back to him! I have had him since I first started playing this game and he was my first ever try at GMing a horse. Sadly he is 19 now, but I would love to add satin and kit M to my liver pearls some time with a replacement stud too! :x

This is my "heart horse"; I spent tons of hbs on him and then never got to use him due to losing acsses to my account. :(( While I may not technically own him anymore since this is a new account, he is still my favorite.
Also: a "shout-out" to the player who owns the "Taliesin" account! I never would have been able to create Ignite without them ♥️

1G War Hymn

This fella is my heart horse right now because he is a work in progress to honor my dad, who died last August. My dad went to Texas A&M and loved College Station. Almost every gene choice ties into my dad somehow...

Chocolate because, on a black horse, it almost looks maroon (Aggie colors)
Satin because my dad's birth stone was opal
KP2 because my dad had gray hair that faded into his black, frizzy curls
Diamond sparkle because he was a diamond of a human. He was kind, intelligent, and never failed to provide support and guidance to me and my siblings.

I created her to honor my mother who died last year in June from pneumonia at age 62. She learned sign language so she could talk to me. She made sure I went to the best public school district for deaf students at that time. She did her best to be Mom to me despite her fibromyalgia, IBS and Crohn's. She also loved strawberry shortcake. It was her favorite dessert. She also loved peonies.

I was just able to create her and I am so happy with how she turned out! I created her to show my sister that horses can literally be a heart horse... And then this thread popped up... :))

I got her from the auction, and she may pass soon, but there's just something about her that just makes her seem extra special.

BF Josiah

Josiah is one of the first horses I created soon after joining last spring. He's named after the main character of the fantasy series I wrote. During last summer's gift exchange, my gifter gave him Diamond Sparkles. It was such a great surprise to find him unexpectedly covered in stars. He's one of the founding sires that almost all my fantasy line is descended from.

This boy is my heart horse on here. He's everything I want as a base for a foundation stallion (other than hopefully still adding satin soon), and honestly everything I want in a real horse as well. I have fancier horses, but I just love this boy. Plus he was a gift from my secret Santa, which just adds to how special he is.

So my heart horse is a little different than some of the others shared here...

Ze Show Pony Chopped Liver
I bought this boy as I think a 3-ish year old when I was attempting to get into Livers, before I really decided what I wanted to breed, but he threw a few awful foals before I thought to comparison test him and he actually tested worse than his sire. Oops.

So I gelded him, and he has turned out to be the absolute best show pony I have! The only one of mine who has more total points than him is a newsletter mare who started with 1000 points.

So he failed at his first intended purpose, but he shines like a diamond in his new role and that’s why I adore him. (I also have a RL weakness for goofy geldings, and that doesn’t hurt any lol!)

This boy is almost the perfect example of what I'm breeding for - rocking the onyx, big booty spots, big blanket, a little dash of Kit M. MmmMmmmMmmm (also rocking a background from a tack pack my holiday gifter gave me!)

This is my heart horse:

MSHrs DiamondsResurrected

I made him in the image of my first diamond age stallion, Mister diamond. Mister diamond was a gorgeous stallion to which I added ice 9 through GMTs. That was the first big gene purchase that I made. I was near broke because of that. But when Mister diamond was of breeding age I was super happy i added that gene: he throw me gorgeous dark brown draft horses thanks to the ice 9, some with a nice splash of white 2 contrasting the darkness. He was my favourite stud so I was sad he passed away.

A while later Armitage announced that the one time anniversary herd helpers would be rotated. I couldn't be happier and immediately thought: I want a new Mister diamond.

So anniversary time came and I created a stud exactly in his image, but with some more awesome goodies to fit my current lines and goals. So I added satin, chocolate, dp, S+, GP and KP so he can be used in all my lines.
Like the stud he was created after, Resurrected is also giving me gorgeous foals that I drool over every time. So that is why he is my heart horse!
