Possible Watercolor/Chimera Bug?

I have been trying to add Watercolor to this guy from the lab seeing it is on sale (which is super exciting!) I know adding genes to chimeras has been a bit different depending on what the primary strand is, but his sire has watercolor on both strands so it shouldn't be an issue... I have tried adding from his sire on both strand one and strand two and both show this:
"Your horse has the - allele for this Rainbow Riot gene.
No edits are available for this gene"
Really hoping I can figure this out, I already gave this guy a boost token!

I could be totally wrong, but I didn't think any of the fantasy genes were in the lab normally? Like the Rainbow Riot gene isn't listed there at all, so when the sale is over it will just disappear.
But maybe I am just going crazy over here and it's been there all along and I just missed it lol -
In that case, there is no way to add it to lined horses sales or not. The sale does not grant you access to it for lined horses either way. Something we can look at when the sale is done.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Hmm, is mushroom in the lab normally? I have added it in the lab to my lined horses through two different sales, but I don't remember a spot being there for it to be added regularly. Though my memory is spotty so I could be forgetting it. :D

Ah okay, bummer. @bluechrystals it is possible mushroom is in there normally but I don't remember lol. It is listed in the "Pigment Modifier" section rather than the "Fantasy" section on the search criteria so maybe that's why?
