Question about horses leveling off

I was under the impression that the show level stays where it is when the horse levels off. I have noticed several of my horses will level off placing well in 6W and after several seasons jump up to 7L and stop bringing in points. Is this normal? Am I wrong about how leveling off works? And if so how do I determine which ones to keep for show ponies. Here’s an example of one of the horses that did it.

Yes that is normal. They can still gain a point here and there after levelling off. You just have to keep an eye on them if its important to you that they keep winning. But you make more money from the daily payout than you do from the winnings :)ID 195859
