    I have seen some of the other players keeping splash 2 in house and the are considered rare, I guess. What does it look like compared to the rest of the splash genes? Why is it an LE gene and in house? Thank you guys just curious. :D

    Limited edition genes are limited edition because they are only available -rarely- to buy straight from Ammit and are not createable in the game.

    Any horse of any line can be "in house". That's simply the decision of the owner. It doesn't mean the horse is rare or special, it just means the owner chooses not to share. I keep all my lined stock in house, and much of it is nothing special.

    Not a huge difference in the way it looks, it's a subtle thing. Mostly it's like the edges of the markings are softer.

    I thought Ammit said there was no difference on any of the splashes? Or did I misunderstand something again? :P

    I'm not sure if there is a difference, other than what gene it is on, but you can't have a homozygous Splash 2 or a Homozygous Splash 3, nor can you put Splash 2 and 3 together, as you will get a dead foal. Splash 1 ( the original in the game), can be put with either Splash 2 or 3 without any problems though.

    Can you put splash 3 with splash 3 or does that make a lethal combination too?

    Splash 3 is lethal homozygous as well. I keep my Splash 2 mostly in-house because I try to limit the bloodlines of all of my horses. I try to keep only one colt and up to three fillies from each stallion intact per season. This gene is really new so it is right now pretty rare, it may not always be. I don't notice much of a difference in color wise, mostly that the splash 2's tend to have more white than a normal splash. (Not always though)
