DPs Effects on DFP2

I was sorting my barns and came across these two foals who are full siblings with similar genetics. One is het DP and the other is hom DP. The one who is hom DP has a much darker stripe. Is this by design or could it be changed by a reroll?

I think it varies a bit. Here is a list of my Hom DP DFP2 ponies.

Ammit has said before that the amount of pigment present will alter the expression of the Dun Factor genes. It's why DFP1 and 2 show up more on Hom Sooty and DP horses.
