I don’t know much about closed or fantasy genes, but could the hom satin possibly be covering it?

Depending on the horse they sometimes show dapples, but they'll still be black for the most part. What were you expecting it to look like? Maybe I can help figure out the genetics you need if I know what look you wish to make.

If I remember right, when I had silver blacks it takes FOREVER to roll dappled. Sometimes you get lucky and it's the first one, but most of the time it's well past fifteen or more.
