I guess I must have misunderstood something, please forgive me for bugging about this topic again.

I understood (or thought I did) there's a relationship between the yearly points earned and the daily payout, specifically the higher the points, the higher the daily HB.

Then when I'm checking my barns, I find things like this one. Could someone sort out my understanding, because I ran out of barn space and am culling. I've seen the relationship that I thought I had understood, got some that were iffy. I don't want to cull someone with high HB, but the points this year on this horse are so awful, I dunno. Comments please?

She is levelling off and reaching her peak. She is placing low in her class and therefore, not earning much for points. She also is leveling in a local class, which earn less compared to National and World classes.

This is when I auction for daily payout. You get her lifetime payout and free up space for incoming showers that will earn points.

That makes sense to me, I can understand you clearly. I've been forgetting to look at the class, most of the ones I'm getting rid of is some low-payout ones. Doing it your way should benefit my herd. Thank you.
