They are much too young to consider culling them based on show performance. The low level classes have so few horses in them that the results are largely a result of luck (especially at level one where the range of scores between grades is so small). Now that they are moving into the levels with larger class sizes and 10 points of score between grades they should start to gain points.

If you show your horses every week they are likely to have negative profits since they usually stay in a level/grade (after level 1) for about 3 weeks (depending on PT) and are likely to be at the bottom of the class the first week, may be near the middle the second, and only have a chance of being near the top the third.

Also, even if they don't place near the top, so long as they receive more than half a point for their show placing they will be increasing your total points and your weekly showing bonus by at least a little.
