I am new.I have read the FAQ .I don't really understand how breeding on the pastures work.Do you have to put the mares and stallion on the pasture on a certain date and breed on a different one.Or can you just put them on and breed them.Any help with this will be appreciated. My account is basic.

HI ! welcome to H&J :)
You can put the Horses of breedable age in the pastures when ever you please. Leaving Mares in the pastures for 15 or 30 days gives the foals a "boost" towards their scores. Stallions do not get the boost. You can breed ( I think ) after the 7th day of the month at any time up to the 28th day. There was recently a change to the pastures so I am unsure of "auto breeding" used to be at midnight on the 14th any Breedable pasture would be covered ( by Breedable it has both mares and stallions of age that had not been bred yet that season) . Dont forget to post in your peer group discussion ( in ORANGE ) on your task bar for some nice bonuses.
