    I'm a little confused about something and am hoping someone can help me figure out if there is a problem or if I'm just misunderstanding what I'm seeing on my account. While I was searching around on my HJ1 server account. I decided to check my Associated Accounts page. On that page there should only be my one account - Ghostwind Nativz ID# 121136. Instead, not only is my account listed, but it says I have 6 other accounts associated with my 1 account. When I visit each account's page and click on "View All Stables Owned By ..." it states that they own my account. The 6 other accounts listed, that are not mine and were not created by me or a member of my family, are as follows:

    Helia - ID# 211323

    Fritzie09 - ID# 242077

    ShellBell - ID# 87879

    Cloekittys - ID# 236169

    nomurk - ID# 248015

    GreenerFence - ID# 237851

    The only other account I ever had on the HJ1 server was merged into my one and only account - ID# 121136.

    So I guess my questions are, how did these accounts get made without me getting an e-mail alerting me of their presence? Are these accounts that were created by people who were referred to the game by me? Or is there another reason as to why these accounts all state they are owned by my only account, Ghostwind Nativz?

    I believe it's based off internet server Id . I ran into something similar a few years ago where I couldn't purchase horses or breeding a from certain members because it said our accounts were associated. Basically anyone with the same internet server Id as you that's on the game is associated so two people using Verizon could be connected . The only way I was able to breed horses to associated members was to upgrade my account. But ammit will have a better answer for you .

    Associated accounts just mean they are associated. It does not mean they are owned by the same person. :)

    I worked for an internet service provided for a while and learned exactly why this happens, so I'll explain it to help you understand.

    There is an extremely large, but still finite, number of IP (Internet Protocol) addresses available. Each internet service provider is assigned a certain number of them according to the size of the service. Relatively local providers get less than those who cover very large (or highly populated) areas. When a person using any service logs in to the Internet, one of the numbers assigned to their provider is assigned to their device. When they log off, that number goes back into the pool of numbers and can be assigned to another user while their device is logged in.

    For the purposes of the game, this means that if you use the same provider as another player, your devices may, over time, be assigned the same IP address number, and the accounts become associated. If you log in while away from home, at a restaurant a library, a bus station, or on a college campus as a few examples, your account can become associated with another one whose owner's device was connected using the same provider. You may never meet such persons outside of the game, but the game remembers each address that every account has used.

    Apparently I'm associated with 40 other accounts lol! I'm in an area where it goes from rural to a rather large town in only a few miles, with only two service providers. I'm assuming we all use the same Ip addresses from time to time then. Never looked on that page before now, but it's kinda funny!

    If you have a problem with buying or breeding a horse from an associated account you can ask someone on the forum to be a 'middleman' for the sale/breeding. As long as you keep the discussions on the main forum where everyone can see it's all legit, there shouldn't be any problems.

    I ve "middlepersoned" for a few people ; in the past we had " where are y'all from?" posts and sometimes its amazing who is where and associated lol
