wanted show horses please
-
Just bought a barn the other day and would like to fill it with good potential. Private auction bids this week are getting high too high for my price range. Any color or gender works. Thank you.

There are quite a few good show horses in the private auction with no bids on them at all.
You don't need PT's of 11 or 12 - pt's in the 10's are often solid little money earners. The higher ones aren't really that good for someone just starting to build a string anyway - they usually take longer to settle down and be steady earners.
Don't get caught in the "must have high PT to make money" mindset - that's not true at all. I had a 9.9 that earned me over 100k in his lifetime. It all comes down to where they settle down.
Redbud is correct - many of the horses in the foundation rescue have the potential to make money. Also, you can watch the public auction. It's pretty common for people to throw away any foal that gets gelded or spayed, many of those will already be PT'd too. You just have to take more time to search. They will also need time to age up, but you'll be getting them very cheaply. Less money + more patience is a winning combo. ;)
Just remember to spay or geld any young stock you get - don't get distracted by maybe breeding them once or twice. You lose several years worth of training bonus that way.

Here's what I have for sale right now. I've sorted it by points earned this year. The horses at the top of the list are all young, and have plenty of potential to earn more
