    I’ve finally reached a point that I’m out of room for now and lower on hbs than I want to be. At this point what horses do you decide to sell? Do you sell off the older horses (18+) alter and intact? Obviously my breeding lines are staying. Thanks for any advice and help.

    At the end of the month I go through and Auction mares over 18 ; since you have a chance of loosing them. I wait on Stallions ( JUST in case lol )
    I also go through and see if my show horses are performing well ; ( if their daily payout is less than 40 and their show fee is 50x2 they aren't "making" money enough to support a breeding horse or 2 ).

    Like you said, I always hold on to my stallions just in case. I’ve just not run out of room or hbs like this till now lol. That’s a good point with the show horses. I usually just sell off the ones that aren’t showing well. Guess I’ve got a lot of ponies to sort out now lol.

    I toss show horses into the auction for their daily payout ( 10 years old at least) if they are no longer placing well in their class. I use the search feature to Sort by Total Points This Year. I jump to the end of the search - this allows me to get rid of horses that aren't making much points - which means they are no longer earning well. My daily payout drops for a few days until my younger show ponies build it back up.

    Thanks Humboldt, you read my mind. Lol. I was just going to ask the best way to sort through them all. I have at least 100 that are 18+ and some still show well. So that really helps a lot.
