What kind of image were you thinking of?

Nothing too fancy. I can't think what to call my new project yet, but I've named the mares after medieval musical instruments so I'm thinking of some kind of musical note. The stallion is a 'Color With A Really Long Name' so I'd like the tattoo to have more than one colour - two or three if possible. I'm thinking of putting it on the horses so the colours will need to show up against a variety of (non-Fantasy) horse coats. If this isn't possible then I will put the tattoo in a corner of the image rather than on the horse itself.

Thank you Oatsman. I have to admit, I do love Celtic design. As a knitter who likes to design things I enjoy the complexity of the interwoven designs. Obviously, in a small tattoo a more simplified design would be better. I was thinking of colours that would definitely not be natural, such as blue and green, and maybe a very vivid red that would still show up on chestnut coats. Please also bear in mind that you would have to explain to me how to get your design and put it into a tattoo slot! And all without using long words and making sure you speak loudly and clearly so that the old dear (that's me) can understand. =))
