Does anyone know what causes her tail to look like that? I'd like to breed for it.

I think lots of different white patterns could cause that white stripe. My first guess is always splash, but in this case I agree with Nightphoenix.

Yep! Tobiano and a bunch of other white genes can cause it, but since LP doesn’t typically cause tail white, it’s gotta be the Kit M :)

@cmkthrives OPs horse has white at the top, GP gives white at the bottom. Also, although your horse has a copy of GP, that is not what you are seeing. GP needs to be homozygous and needs a bay base to show :) Your horse has alot of genes that could give some white in the tail. The silver gene on one strand will make both mane and tail white, and both splash and tobiano could also give white in the tail.

Yep, Gulastra Plume doesn’t make a white stripe. It makes the tail look like it was dipped in white paint :)
