Oh yes.

My biggest moment of horror in game happened when I used to keep my foundation stallions and important foundation mares in my primary and I would also sort pasture foals in that primary barn page too.

Well one time, I meant to enter them in shows and for some reason (maybe I didn't have enough coffee or something) I gelded/spayed them all. Including my foundation stallions and mares.

D'oh! Fortunately, Ammit was very kind to undo that for me.

Now I have my foundation boys and girls in a barn of their own, so the primary barn is used for creating new horses and sorting foals only. It was something I should have done a long time ago, tbh. Considering my 2nd biggest moment of horror which was to enter them all in the auction lol. I got them all back, fortunately, with the help of Ammit.

Don't know what I would have done if Ammit hadn't bailed me out both times. Thanks so much, Ammit!!

So yeah, my advice is - don't be so absentminded! lol

Not too many game years after the mass altering was added - after doing all the mass testing, I usually select all the Red fillies and spay them before moving them to an auction barn. One time, I don't remember exactly why, I selected the Blues instead. Fewer of them that time I think? Spayed and moved them instead of naming and moving them to the fillies barn. :-/ Don't mess with routine! :))

When I realized I completely fouled my nexus line by being a noob and accidentally bootstrapping. A fact I didn't realize until after I'd sold the stud...

ikr I really wish I'd made better use of the hb they give you to start, I completely wasted it.

I can't tell you how many times I've gone to vote down the price of a horse on the sales boards, and bought the horse instead!

I think the most horrific thing I've done on the game so far is accidentally bootstrap some mares I didn't mean to. Ugh. I'm pretty sure I've accidentally auctioned some horses I didn't mean to, way back before there was any kind of saving grace that's now been put in!

I think one of my worst mistakes was buying 2 - 10 straws bundles from a couple of really nice studs ; I didnt use them right away and then used them on Foundation mares >< they were all 2g studs and werent labeled as 2g ; those were some Expensive show horses -.-

Oh dang, these are all hilarious and horrifying! Thank you so much for sharing your fails with me! I got some great laughs and feel a lot better that I'm not the only one making regrettable errors.

@CrowsnestRidge I am glad i'm not the only one who makes mistakes when I'm tired, lol.

Oof. I usually put my horses up for sale as well as auction. Not to actually sell them but because it puts the two little icons there on the barn so everything is double confirmed. If I see only one icon I know something's wrong. Doesn't work with the limited/closed genes unfortunately but it's handy for the show string so I don't accidentally sell a a 300+

Way back when I first started playing, I GMT'd a foundation stallion to be exactly what I wanted my breeding goals to be. He was very, very expensive and a special friend had helped me with the funds to create him. After only one breeding season, I wanted to share him with the community so I put him up for public breeding. Or, so I thought. I must have accidentally hit the Sell Horse button instead of the Set Breeding Fee button. He was gone almost instantly. Most heart wrenching mistake I've ever made.

@Alianne Oh no! And of course the breeding fee you set was far, far too low to be a sale price! I would have wept!

That's just cruel. I mean it's allowable, but it's not nice at all!

@Alianne I am so sorry to hear you experienced that... it's not normal eradicate here to refuse giving a horse back to the original owner if put up for sale by mistake... there have been a few times I accidentally placed a moded horse in auction and I got messages from the people who bought them letting me know they had them and always asked if I wanted them back...

@alianne ; I as well had something similar happen ; the person who bought it said it was " perfect" for her program and oh well I could always make a new one. I also have changed to only do Imprtant things when tired or un cafeinated lol. now all I do is Comp test ^_^

Yeah but it's just so dishonorable here. I mean I'm cutthroat as all get out in real life and competitive games but the people here are so gentle it's like beating up a pacifist there's no glory or challenge to it. It doesn't prove anything it just makes you scum.
