Pasture Bonus?

    Does pasture bonus affect all of a mare's breeding or only pasture breeding?

    I have a couple favorites with full bonus and I'd like to use them with some choice straws however if this would negate their bonus I'd rather pasture breed them and use the straws next season. (I'm swapping my mares out for 2gs after this next breeding so they won't be accruing anyway)
    Licensed for:
    All Axiom
    Ice: 9, 13, 15-19
    RR: wt, PBC, PBW, Nac
    PHAN: dmsp, lace, sku, hrt, shm, jelly, pmk, bird,crit sun star.
    Other: everything but SPM and jewel

    I believe the pasture bonus only applies while the mares are in the pasture and the only way to breed mares in a pasture is with a stallion who is also in that pasture.

    Therefore, in order to use these straws with those mares, you'd have to move them to a barn first and their bonus would reset.

    This is just based off of my recollection of having to pull a few mares out of my pastures in order to use some straws myself - I don't think pasture mares show up in the list of available mares when you do the "use a straw" option in the Advanced Breeding Lab.

    Mares only accrue pasture bonus In pasture , you have to use a "live" cover on pastured horses

    This is correct. Lab breeding already gives you a bonus anyways.

    I think its the 15day Bonus ; Ammit did it several months ago :) to help with keeping the babies intact
