Search "Horse Name" question
-
Is there a way to get the search to tell the difference between the new and old naming systems?
For example plain FSH vs FSH1, FSH2, FSH3, and so on. I wanna narrow the search down to horses still going by FSH Blah Blah.
I tried FSH with a space after the H, but that didn't work. -
If you're trying to see the 1s, 2s, etc. all together, probably not.
You could try sorting by name, then (if that's the first part of the name), the generations should all be grouped together within the results. -
The thing is I don't want all those different generations lumped together. I want an exact match case with just FSH and no number
-
You would be able to do it if you change it to FSH0 or FSHF (for foundation), but I think otherwise it will always show the other FSH generations too.ID #265959 | He/him | Breeding Black Satin, Liver, and Grullo Arcturus Horses | Licenses: Mushroom, DFP2, Onyx, Axiom Blue and Green

Yeah, the problem is that all my older show horses are named just FSH. The newer show horses have the FSHX with the X being their generation number. I wanted to move the older show horses over to the new system but wanted to do an exact match case search.

Not as convenient as searching, but in each barn that has some of the horses you want, you can sort by name. FSH will be listed alphabetically before FSH1, FSH2, etc. It will only work if the code is at the beginning of their name, though.Thanked by 1Ammit

And if that doesn't work, you can sort by age so all the older horses show up together.
