Yes..in a way. You also earn money based on how many points your horses have - but you get points on your horses by entering them in shows. :)
Geldings and spayed mares have some value here - they will be a better show horse than the same horse that is not fixed. -
Breeding stock can still be pretty good at showing as well, just not as good as they would have been if neutered. My third most profitable horse right now is a stallion. Number 5 and 7 are intact mares. Numbers 9, 10, and 11 are all intact as are 14, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24 and 25.
