Results of ASR1?
-
For those of you breeding with ASR1, how are your results looking?
Mine are all over the place LOL. But I'm surprised about the size of spots from horses who are HOM Sty and HOM DP. Even without ASR1, I would expect those genes to express as larger spots. So throw in HET ASR1, and I was surprised by their expression.
For the most part they are been medium expression, the size of their parents or a little smaller. Not what I would actually expect with DP breeding before the new gene.
And then I get these two. LOL Their spots must have been nonexistent before.

A tweak went out yesterday. Try refreshing any horses born before today.
ETA: Looking at a bunch of your foals I am not sure what you mean. Most spots are huge. Also if you have a line with micro spotting ASR1will always make it bigger but won't always totally turn off micro spotting with het. Het ASR1 is not as strong or as predictable as home.Post edited by Ammit at 2021-06-13 04:25:35Need to contact me? Read this first.
